I have selected Amazon for this discussion. Amazon is a market giant in online retails and almost has monopoly power in the market. One of the reasons customers choose Amazon is for its speedy delivery and customer care. After the two days of delivery for the Prime members, Amazon has recently started the same-day delivery program. This is definitely advantageous for its customers, but not for its employees. Even before starting the program, Amazon has a bad reputation regarding employee treatment. The situation is worse for the employees working in the Amazon warehouse and Amazon fulfillment center. For example, a picker in an Amazon fulfillment center has to pick up 400 items on an hourly basis.
